Your journal belongs to you
Notes and question responses are private. They are kept on your device for offline use and, when you sign in, synced to records only your account can read.
Scripture readings
NIV and NLT readings are supplied by API.Bible when selected. Opening one sends API.Bible its required anonymous reading-view report with random device and session identifiers. We do not send your name, email address, account ID or private journal. ESV readings are requested from Crossway’s ESV API; Crossway receives the passage reference. Scripture requires an internet connection when opened and is not included in downloaded talk packs.
Scripture quotations are from the ESV® Bible (The Holy Bible, English Standard Version®), © 2001 by Crossway, a publishing ministry of Good News Publishers. Used by permission. All rights reserved. The ESV text may not be quoted in any publication made available to the public by a Creative Commons license. The ESV may not be translated into any other language. Users may not copy or download more than 500 verses of the ESV Bible or more than one half of any book of the ESV Bible.
What the app stores
Your account name and email address, email-notification preference, your typed and handwritten notes, question answers, device sync information, and downloaded public talk content. When enabled, we use your first name and account email address to tell you about newly published talks. You can turn these emails off from your Account page. Speakers cannot read congregation members’ journals.
Each talk starts on a new page with its series, title, passage, speaker and date.
